Busy Boring Week

This past week, not too much happened. Broc is slowly entering the terrible twos. He is either the sweetest boy or a grump who needs a nap. I have been busy, busy with work as usual. It's going to get crazy in the next couple of weeks as we get ready for Easter. This season is the busiest season in the Payless world. Why you may ask? Every little kid needs to accessorize with cute shoes for their Easter Outfits. I am one of those people. Good thing I get a discount on shoes. My sister in law Nicole was making fun of me last night as I was buying Broc 3 more pairs of sandals to go with his closet full of shoes. Granted he is only almost 2 but he does need to match from all angles. It's a girl thing and according to Payless I am what is known as an Expressive Mom. He does have a great shoe collection.

Anyway my frustrations this week are that people are grumpy to us (the retailers) for no reason but then expect us to bow down to them. It drives me crazy. And then the fact that so many people these days steal. I had a couple of teenagers in my store Friday night who stole while I was right there. And don't even get me started on Saturday. One of my employees told me I was ugly and I took it as on the the inside because I was just a grump that day. Don't steal!! I had a customer once tell me that even if we don't see them do something, Jesus does. I just hope they can sleep at night. And I understand that people have bad days but treat us with respect when we are just trying to do our job. You will regret being a meanie when you need our help.

Saturday night we went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse with Cassi and Chadd. I love, love their food. Broc loves hanging out with our friends and when we have gotten together usually likes playing with M but that night he wasn't having any of it. (it has just been a week with him.) Thanks guys for getting us a spot in line. It was a long wait but it was fun waiting with you guys. Once Easter is over and done with, I may have some exciting things to talk about.
