Halloween

 All of the gangsters

 Broc's crazy pumpkin. His face changed on a daily basis.
The mayhem of trunk or treat inside a gymnasium.
I think I love that fact that Halloween got to be celebrated all weekend long this year. And let me say, it did not disappoint. Usually I like to be a matching couple or family, but this year we didn't do that. Justin was a 20s gangster, I was a pirate, Broc was Woody from Toy Story and Sophia was a monkey.  On the 29th, we went to a party at our friend's shop. It was a lot of fun with yummy food and games. Justin and I won blackout on Bingo and won candy and a free meal at Rumbi. We attempted to do a pinata, but it didn't last very long. In fact only my friend Lacie got to even hit it. I didn't have my camera, so I have nothing to show until hopefully someone posts and I can steal from them. Broc and Sophia got to go to a trunk or treat with my nieces that night which turned out better than our trunk or treat the following night. Which leads me into the 30th. That day we baked brownies and then threw together a trunk or treat inside our ward building due to our fantastic weather. Broc didn't care about getting treats though. He only wanted to see his friends. He is such a social  little butterfly. After we were done at the church, we went and hung out at Grandma Linda's house. Broc thought it was pretty cool to be able to give candy to the trick or treaters that came to her house. And Sunday was spent at church and just hanging out.It was a festive weekend, but I am glad it is over because it's one holiday closer to Christmas!! Time to bring out the Christmas music!!!!

Birthdays and Baby Showers

 My nephew Ryland turned 1 back on October 16th and I got to be in charge of his party!! We had a sports themed party with a basketball pinata and soccer ball and baseball cupcakes. It was so much fun. Broc enjoyed opening all of Ryland's presents since Ryland didn't seem to be going fasgt enough nor did he really care. (It was nap time) Ryland is one busy little boy and is all over the place all of the time. Give Sophia time and she may surpass him in weight. He is tiny but fast. We love you Ryland and Happy Birthday! (Pictures to come soon)

On the 23rd I got to throw my cute cousin Kortney a baby shower for her baby girl due Christmas Day!! I just love having babies in the family (just no more for me for a bit or even at all maybe). We had yummy fppd, got to see family and friends and just have a good time overall. She even scored some good stuff. I had made her a holder for her bows and flowers and gave her some pajamas and shoes and things, plus we have her a gift card to Babies R Us. We love you Kortney and can't wait to meet Taizley!!

They are sisters. Ashley is having a boy in March!!

6 Months Already!!

This post is a couple of weeks late, but better late than never. Sophia turned 6 months old on October 21st. I can't believe how fast that time went by. She is getting so big and is showing her fun personality. She still loves her big brother and wants to be where he is and just watches everything that he does. She babbles to herself which is usually what I find her doing when she wakes up at 630ish every morning. She is a sitter now and if you have seen her lately, you would know that she enjoys her food. She has thunder thighs that I just want to squeeze and the fattest little cheeks. And the best part; she has curl in her hair!! I thought for sure she was cursed with straight hair and Broc got the curls. Sophia, we are so happy that you are a part of our family and we love you so much!! Happy half Birthday!!
Sophia's 6 month stats
* Height
29 1/2 inches 29th percentile
 * Weight
17 lbs. 10 oz.
72nd percentile
* Head

87th percentile
And last but not least, who can forget about Master Broc. He is learning and growing more and more everyday. He can sing the alphabet, knows how to count to 20, is getting so much better at his colors and all in all just makes us laugh with the things he comes up with. On most days you will find him running around in his underwear. Clothes cramp his style. He puts sunscreen on every day because he is getting set for the beach. He likes to be the stinky kid, because he hates to take a bath for fear that we dunk his head. (We do give him baths, its just funny to listen to him say he doesn't care if he is the stinky kid). He loves to play with everyone and gets along with pretty much anyone. He adores his little sister and shows her funny faces to make her laugh. He is such a good big brother and we are so glad he is a part of our family. Love you Broc!!

You Gotta Love it Baby!!

Saturday night, Justin surprised me with tickets to a Jazz game!! He got them from someone at work. I had spent the day doing a yard sale and then came home and he had to do traffic control for the BYU game (great win btw) so he actually got to come pick me up for our date. He knocked on the door and everything. I thought it was cute. We went with Craig and Nicole. We were row 21 right behind the basket. It was such a good game with a win in double overtime!! What a good way to spend the weekend before my birthday which means I can somehow celebrate my birthday all week (which I will find a way to do)!! Thanks babe for a great night out!!
 I just love D Will

Ringling Brother's and Barnum & Bailey Circus

 Last week we got to go to the Circus since I won a contest and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! It was so much fun. We got more into it than Broc did at some parts as he was playing on the IPod at parts. The clowns were hilarious, the tricks and things rocked and the baby elephant was soo stinkin cute. It was such a fantastic night out. Thanks Freebies2deals for the tickets :)

This couple and their family were AMAZING BTW

Awesome!!

Such a cute baby elephant. I was lovin the peach fuzz.

Lagoon- It's What Fun Is

This year for Labor Day, we took Broc to Lagoon. We went with family and I must say, it was a fun day. I didn't ride very much, but Broc had a blast and that's really all that matters. I did get to go on Wicked though and I forgot how intense that ride was. My sister and brother in law made fun of me for how much and loud I screamed. I also got stung in the mouth by 2 bees. Special talent holder right here. They were in my soda and I swallowed them. Anyway, I can't wait to go back for Frightmares. :)
