Ringling Brother's and Barnum & Bailey Circus

Last week we got to go to the Circus since I won a contest and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! It was so much fun. We got more into it than Broc did at some parts as he was playing on the IPod at parts. The clowns were hilarious, the tricks and things rocked and the baby elephant was soo stinkin cute. It was such a fantastic night out. Thanks Freebies2deals for the tickets :)

This couple and their family were AMAZING BTW

Awesome!!

Such a cute baby elephant. I was lovin the peach fuzz.

Lagoon- It's What Fun Is

This year for Labor Day, we took Broc to Lagoon. We went with family and I must say, it was a fun day. I didn't ride very much, but Broc had a blast and that's really all that matters. I did get to go on Wicked though and I forgot how intense that ride was. My sister and brother in law made fun of me for how much and loud I screamed. I also got stung in the mouth by 2 bees. Special talent holder right here. They were in my soda and I swallowed them. Anyway, I can't wait to go back for Frightmares. :)

August in Review

I got tired of fixing pictures so these tops ones are out of order. sorry but in all reality; get over it :)

I can't believe August comes to a close this week. I am not complaining because August has been a terrible month. It has been busy, busy, busy. Some of it was a good busy, but most of it was work. Lame. Such is life when it gets to be a peak season. We got to go on our annual Swanson cousins campout. Had I not been in charge of it though, I wouldn't have gone. It was fun however to get away for a night and see my family. The kids got to make shirts and hit a pinata. One of my cousin's little girls broke her arm and ended up in emergency surgery which was a downer but she is doing ok. She was such a strong little girl.
Our cute friends Tye and Paige got sealed in the temple. We got to go to the Manti temple with them when they took out their endowment. I have never done a live session before that night and let me just say it was AWESOME!! I got so much more out of it. Congratulations Tye and Paige!! We love you guys :) (I stole these pictures from my friend Paige. Thanks mam).

Justin turned 28 last week. I surprised him and decorated his office on my way to work and left him some treats.(I forgot to take pictures. Lame I know.) Over the weekend, we went to sushi to celebrate.(Again, no pictures.) Thanks everyone that came to celebrate!! Most of his friends came just cause they love Justin and for that we love you guys!!! My niece Jordan made him banana nut muffins and shoved candles in three of them for him to blow out. I loved it!! Happy birthday again babe!!! You are the best daddy and husband and we are so grateful for all that you do for us :)
And last but not least: my baby girl is 4 months old!! I can't believe how fast that time has gone. She is getting HUGE. I love it!! She has no desire to roll (although she can), but she scoots and squirms everywhere. She loves to sit in her bumbo and watch us or better yet, eat her fruits. She just makes us smile. She goes to the doctors next week for a check up so I will have more on her then. In the meantime...........
Here's to hoping September is a little less chaotic. Who am I kidding? Chaos seems to fit our lifestyle.

4 Months Old

I can't believe how fast 4 months has flown by. Sophia is growing like a weed and learning new things everyday. Things Sophia is doing now:
*rolling IF and WHEN she wants to
*scooting around her play mat (she can move and fast)
*she can sit up for a few seconds (it is a work in progress)
*she will laugh at the most random things
*she wakes up happy every morning
*she LOVES her big brother. there are times when he is the only thing that will make her happy
*she is eating solid foods now. she loves sweet potatoes and pears the best.
*she can almost hold her own bottle
Her 4 month stats:
WEIGHT: 15 lbs.  75th percentile Hard to believe she was only 5 lbs 15 oz. when she was born.
HEIGHT:  21 in.  25th percentile
HEAD: I can't remember but she was in the 25th percentile

We love our little Chunky Monkey and are so glad she is a part of our family forever.

Sophia's Blessing Day

We finally blessed Sophia :) It was such a great day with family and friends and Justin gave such a great blessing. I am so grateful to have found him and to be able to spend eternity with "my babe" My mom bought Sophia her dress, which wasn't your typical blessing dress (anyone that knows my husband, knows he likes it that way). We got something with purple in remembrance to Justin's grandma Betty. When she was dying she made a comment on seeing a baby in purple. That was how we knew we were having a girl (we didn't find out until a couple of weeks later that we REALLY were having a girl). Thanks to all of our family and friends that came and showed their support and to those that were there in spirit. We love you guys!!!
